Innovative Steel Acquires NexFrame Building Solutions

In a major step forward for strategic growth and national reach, the principals of Innovative Steel Technologies, Inc. have announced the execution of a purchase agreement for the acquisition of all assets belonging to NexFrame Building Solutions, based in Stockton, California.

NexFrame, originally launched as a joint venture between Lennar Homes and Nucor Steel Corporation, specializes in the manufacturing of light-gauge steel framing systems for residential structures. The acquisition reflects Innovative Steel’s continued commitment to expanding its footprint and capabilities in the light-gauge framing sector.

According to Richard D. Biddle, President of Innovative Steel, the company will maintain a presence in the Southern California market, ensuring continuity of service for existing clients and strengthening logistical reach in the Western U.S. In addition, excess machinery from the Stockton facility will be strategically redistributed across Innovative Steel’s other manufacturing locations to optimize production capacity and efficiency nationwide.

This acquisition marks a significant milestone in Innovative Steel Technologies’ mission to provide high-quality, cost-effective steel framing solutions across commercial and residential markets.
